The bronze alloy feels dense and solid in hand, and even the smallest bowl rings out with a deep, clear tone that lingers nicely. I was surprised how well the included pad keeps everything steady during use.

The three sizes cover everything from a quick morning chant to a longer evening sit, and the bronze alloy has a warm, deep ring that lingers beautifully. The 14.5cm bowl especially feels solid and resonant, and the included pad keeps it steady on my wooden desk.

The bowl's rim is surprisingly thick and sturdy for its size, which makes the mallet strike feel solid rather than hollow. I wish the cushion were a bit thicker to protect my table, but the sound itself is deep and calming for a beginner like me.
